Dark and stormy nights

Tomorrow night will be one of those nights. The stench of a thousand broken dreams wil hang in the air like the wet laundry. A child's laughter will be heard in the distance, but the distance will be far too great; not only in the geographical terms, but in metaphorical terms as well. This is sick world on this side of the tracks, it's nothing like the sunshine and green grass of the west side. Around here, darkness lurks at all hours of the day, consuming the neighborhood, dampening the crumbling sidewalks. There's no way out of a day like tomorrow, and because there's no way out, WE'LL BE DOING THE MASTERPIECE ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY, KINDA/SORTA TODAY!) INSTEAD OF THURSDAY!
